We sat down with Skincare Expert, Cecilia Wong, and had the pleasure of asking her a few questions about how we can get our skin glowing and healthy for the months ahead.
Where did the idea for your business come from?
I grew up with bad skin- acne, excessive oil, congested skin, clogged pores. I started getting facials at 14 years old but didn’t like the products they used on my skin. One day, was in my kitchen preparing some fruits and decided to create a facial mask out of blueberries and papaya and applied it on my skin.. did that for a week and saw a huge improvement on my skin.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
I had clients tell me how thankful they are to have found me and how I have changed their skin and their life – that is most rewarding for me..
What’s the best beauty treatment you’ve ever had?
The microcurrent, this is the ultimate pre- red carpet, antiaging treatment to have. It lifts and tones the facial muscles. The results are immediate.
Of all the Products you make, which is the one you couldn’t live without?
The Black currant serum, this was the first product I created and was inspired by my love of juicing. This literally changed my skin forever.
My skincare line is 100% natural and organic. I use only the highest quality ingredients and all made in the U.S. The star ingredients are all herbs and fruits that we consume on a daily basis. What inspires me are my clients. They are the reason why I do what I do and continue to create more products that heal with visible results.
What advice can you give a client before a BIG Event?
Always hydrate your skin. Whether it be juicing or applying a serum on your face. Your skin will glow from inside out.

Royal Photo Booth was all over New York busy last week with weddings, graduation dances, and fundraising events. We were especially honored to provide one of our Green Screen Photo Booths at the Reception of the 114th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence at Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Center! Currently based in Nassau County in NY, we caught up with JD so she could share her expertise with us about invitations, preserving the “old fashion way.” Here’s what she shared:

She then worked with Merv Griffin Productions in NYC, where she continued to apply her knowledge of event planning. Three years later, the opportunity arose for her to work in Japan for 3 years in planning events and working in entertainment, which broadened her experience to an international level. After returning to the US, she landed a job in San Diego, CA where she assisted with the Annual Miramar show. JD was no stranger to large events or production work and loved every minute of it. She then became Catering Director in Ft. Belvoir, VA. After a few years of mastering her skills as a Catering Director, the next transition was to launch her own business and to answer her inner calling and true passion, Event Planning. She loves to work with brides and grooms to bring their wedding dreams to life. We were thrilled to be a part of such a great cause when asked to participate in the 4th Annual Fighting Leukemia with Fashion Event held recently at Cellar Bar. The night was filled with fashion, drinks & friends and of course our fun Photo Booth made for one memorable event! Society Ties, the young professional’s committee of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, presented this event with two goals in mind: to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and to register much-needed new donors to the National Bone Marrow Registry.
Fighting with Fashion guests were treated to a summer sneak-peek fashion show sponsored by City Model and Talent, the opportunity to join the DKMS National Bone Marrow Registry and pictures from our Photo Booth as a memorable keepsake of this great event.
